DirectCom: Direct Data Communications

DirectCom enables industrial operators or their suppliers to remotely monitor changes through SensorTech’s DirectCom software on their computer. The software facilitates direct data reception from sensors via cost-effective modems or other data-communication connections, such as RS-232 serial, Ethernet, or telephone landline. Advanced features in DirectCom allow tracking of consumable usage history in multiple locations, aiding in timely asset management, reducing downtime, and purchasing requirements.

For consumers, it ensures needed supplies without excess inventory costs, while for vendors, it streamlines operations, minimizes inventory, and supports Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) agreements; ultimately, creating a mutually beneficial solution for both parties.

CloudCom: Online Data Monitoring and Analysis

CloudCom™ by SensorTech is an online data service, similar to DirectCom, enabling monitoring, inventory analysis, and signaling functions through the SensorTech Data Center website. Users have password-protected access to their private data section 24/7, accessible securely from any internet connection or handheld device for flexible resource management at home, in the field, or on business trips. CloudCom's versatility and real-time routing management allow quick responses to changing conditions, enhancing efficiency and profitability.

VPDM: Voice Phone Data Monitoring

SensorTech's PDM and VPDM services offer streamlined solutions for remote sensor data and alerts via telephone, whether through a landline or cellular connection via the SensorTech Data Center. PDM provides automated voice alerts, keeping users informed without the need for complex computer or smartphone interfaces. Meanwhile, VPDM allows personalized customization of alert levels, granting users greater control over monitoring parameters and ensuring prompt notification through authorized voice telephone devices, such as landlines, basic cell phones, or smartphones.

VPDM's simplicity lies in its accessibility, avoiding the complexities associated with computer or smartphone applications. It extends beyond specific locations, as your cellphone can provide alerts anywhere within your phone service area. This go-anywhere versatility enables real-time responses to changing conditions, helping prevent outages, surprises, and minimizing wasted time and effort in operational processes.

RDF: Raw Data Forwarding

RDF enables the utilization of SensorTech's advanced data-communications assets and Data Center to receive sensor data from various types and monitors, using different communication methods. This data is then forwarded to your computer system through standard links like landline, cellular telecom, or the Internet.

RDF facilitates seamless integration of sensor data into your preferred software applications (proprietary, custom, or commercial), adapting to the arrangement preferred by your computer specialist. This allows your organization to follow established protocols for handling inventory data while capitalizing on SensorTech's monitoring and communication resources, including data backup and recovery, power backup, and data translation options.
